IDCR Pilots Mediation Training Programme
In partnership with Greater London and East Anglia Mediation (GLEAMED), the IDCR piloted its first mediation training sessions.
Held over two three-day periods in November and December, the mediation training, accredited by the Open College Network (OCN), provides core training in mediation techniques and a first module on workplace mediation. The lecture and seminar sessions were complemented by mediation role play sessions and pre- and post- module assessments.
The training was developed and coordinated by Dr Dorothea Farquhar, Executive Officer of the IDCR and developed and delivered by Tom Thomas OBE, Managing Director of GLEAMED.
