The Arab Spring and the Domino Effect
Professor Todd Landman will be giving a keynote address on the diffusion of democracy at an event in Brussels on 27 September. The event seeks to address the prospects for the promotion of democracy and human rights taking into consideration the various internal and external dynamics that drive their proliferation in the world. The latest research results will be introduced to give policy makers and the media a clearer understanding where we stand today with respect to democracy promotion.
This event has been organised by IDCR partner organisation the German Development Institute along with the Representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia to the European Union.
